Industrial Organizational (I-O) Psychology might be for you if:

You enjoy psychology but are not interested in providing counseling or therapy.
You are interested in using psychological principles to improve businesses (both employees and the organization).
You want to diagnose and provide creative solutions for work problems.

I-O Psychologists can provide answers to questions such as:

What Are the Requirements to be Admitted to the Program?

An Undergraduate Degree in Psychology is preferred.
A minimum of 5 undergraduate psychology courses including general psychology, statistics, and experimental psychology plus two other acceptable courses (comparable courses in relevant disciplines such as Human Resources of Business will be considered)
A minimum overall undergraduate GPA of 2.5 or 2.74 for the last 60 hours.
Students receiving clear admission to the graduate program in psychology usually have an overall undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Minimum scores of 149 Verbal and 144 Quantitative on the Graduate Record Examination (GRE).
